WHO AM I?

WHO AM I?

WHO AM I?

If you've asked me this question in 2014 I really wouldn't know how to answer it properly. I was a law school student who kinda wanted to be a prosecutor, but at the same time I was just too creative and sensitive my whole life to waste it on putting people behind bars and reading endless documents, laws and doing other lawyer'y stuff.

Fortunately my passion for creative work overtook my will to become a lawyer over the years and it actually happened quite naturally to be honest. It wasn't one of those "i'm deciding to be a designer from now on" - instead I was already doing some projects from time to time to keep my weekly craftbeer fund alive and the projects just kept getting bigger and bigger, to the point I just knew that this is what I should be doing in life when I was writing my paper (on copyright law, may I add).

Today I consider myself one of the lucky few. I do something I truly love instead of doing something that society deemed "reasonable". I didn't follow the stream, I didn't concede to what was expected from me because of my prior decisions in life (and honestly, who the hell really knows what they should do for the rest of their life when they're in high school?). Law school did help though - it gave me a unique ability to mix emotions and creativity with logical thinking. Although art should be free from any logic, rules and reason, when it comes to design, you'll notice that the best projects actually are often a mix of those two - they speak to your emotions and reason at the same time.
