Brand Backup - Passionate people, creative solutions

Brand identity for a colorful prominent creative agency.

Brand Backup is a creative agency based in Kraków in Poland and it's been in the business for over 15 years. In 2020 the agency decided to update it's brand image and as part of it's team back then I was responsible for everything related to brand design, illustration and 2d motion.

The concept behind the logo was to show the unity, simplicity and balance of Brand Backup's image. That's how the logomark of two B's which complement each other in one symbol was born.

I wholeheartedly believe that a well made project presentation is crucial in the creative process. Even if the final design is absolutely immaculate, a bad presentation can make it look mediocre, which will eventually affect the client's perception.

Hence why I provided Brand Backup with a keynote template that they can use in order to introduce not only a sense of consistency but also save a lot of time while putting presentations together.

Supplementing the incredible assets provided by the agency's 3D designer - Sebastian Gaczoł - I came up with a style that would suit the world of the so called "Rabbeats" - friendly little aliens that are an important part of the agency's brand image.

The 3D work presented here is not mine but I was responsible for color correcting the renders in order to fit with the whole brand identity.

In an effort to broaden the agency's reach without the possibility to show off it's portfolio because of various NDAs, I came up with an Instagram account where I shared my design knowledge under the name of the agency. After 6 months that account grew to almost 2000 followers, one of them being even Dribbble - one of the biggest design networks in the world.
